Accessibility is not an add-on when the product is already made, rather the exact opposite. It is taken into consideration from the earliest stages of design, through the entire development cycle and throughout the product’s lifetime in its maintenance phase.
When developing accessible sites and apps, the most recent W3C documentation on the matter is used as a basis, as well as the UNE standards and laws in force in Spain and the EU.
Through the use of automatic tools and manual review with assistive technologies, people with disabilities and various combinations of browsers and operating systems, it is possible to determine if a page or app is accessible or not, providing solutions to correct detected errors.
All accessible websites include the logotype in compliance with level AA of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, as well as an accessibility statement indicating whether it is fully accessible, which parts are not accessible (if any) and when the last revision was carried out.
